We create...even from mess
The children and staff of Nelson Academy love the arts, and they love them even more when combined with nature and helping the planet. The challenge to create something beautiful from things that most people would throw away is something they find really satisfying. They get even more of a buzz when their art inspires others. They have whole school challenges such as crown creation, and the staff encourage children to stop and sketch plants and insects, and think about how we could potential rubbish differently, rather than throwing it away.
